This area is in the vicinity of the rocky coastline of Cape St Francis where the vast expanse of sea breaks on to the magnificent rock formations which extend for hundreds of km along the coast. Some of the oldest houses at CSF, fisherman-type cottages, are along here.

Central Cape St Francis

New Cape St Francis

This extends from the caravan park right up the nature reserve which separates CSF from St Francis Bay. Properties for sale are in greater supply here. Many of the properties have stunning sea views of the CSF Bay made possible by the elevation of this area. They also have close proximity to the nature reserve on the western and northern sides which make for a very quiet country-like atmosphere.

The average size of a stand here is 700 m² and even stands at the back up against the reserve are no more than seven minutes walking to the beach. Access to the beach is through the many areas of public open space which form buffer zones between sections of front properties and herein lies the magic of Cape St Francis – there is no continuous line of front propertiesbut more a ‘sprinkling’ of them … a factor which reduced the built-up/developed appearance of Cape St Francis. It has also kept to a minimum, the interference of front properties on the dynamics of the sand-dune system.
